We talk a lot about moisture control with our customers. Over the past couple of months, the conversations have centered a lot on how to control excess runoff and drainage.
One EASY, INEXPENSIVE solution to water run off is through a downspout extension.
A downspout extension is added to the end of your downspout and can be extended several feet to allow runoff from your roof, eaves, and gutters to flow into your yard.
In some yards, downspout extensions are the perfect solution to keep excess rainwater from ponding too close to the foundation.
Downspout extensions are also great ways to bring vital water to plants outside of the hydration zone “perimeter” around your house. Pictured here, you can see the end of the downspout ends by providing vital water to large plants many feet outside of the hydration zone.
